I adopted an absolutely perfect 12 week old Portie from Carlisle Porties three weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. My puppy is happy, kind, healthy, and cuddly. He has an excellent personality, lots of energy for exploring, and loves to say hi to anyone and everyone on the sidewalk. Steven was easily reachable during the adoption process and responded quickly over text with update photos and information as mom of the litter was pregnant and as the litter grew older. Steven took the litter all to an initial vet check and made sure I received all of the puppy’s vaccination and medical records once he arrived to me in Cambridge, MA. He was driven to me through Furry Trails Transport and arrived safely and quickly. Huge thank you!!!

Steven was great from the start. He answered every call and text in a timely manner. Answered every question we had and sent us home with food, pee pads, leash, collar, shot records, family history and a blanket. Steven was very polite and made the process seamless!

If you are in the market for Portuguese Water Dog aka Portie, then you have come to the right place. We received our portie, just last weekend and she is absolutely perfect. Great temperament, very friendly and very well behaved with our children. Steven and his family are very good at communicating with potential families. The porties are AKC certified and come with the option to microchip. The process was very simple from the time we picked our puppy to the time we picked her up. Great breeder. I purchased it on Friday, August 11, 2023, and was vet-checked today (Monday, August 14, 2023). Steve called and checked on him on Saturday which shows me he cares about his puppies. I would recommend him to others. Our puppy passed his puppy check today.

I’ve raised Springers and had Labs, Collies, Goldens, and the PWD’s are the best by far.  My whole experience was perfect. The website provided me with litter information and my questions were answered right away. Payment was easy. The transportation service was excellent with pictures and updates and payment. Ella arrived smelling of a fresh bath and happy. This is my fourth PWD puppy and she is delightful. Very easy going and independent. She learned look and sit for food by the second day. She sleeps on the bed and is very friendly with the two coon cats.
